THE NAME "PETTIBONE" IS a nod to Milford history. A creek of the same name leads to the power station

built in 1938 by Henry Ford to supply power to his newly constructed factory in Milford.

the name also honors Levi Pettibone, who in 1827 purchased the first plot of land in Milford.
